Responsibilities:

Performs cleaning procedures correctly and in a timely manner.
2.
Performs dry and wet mopping of floors.
3.
Collects trash.
4.
Disinfects beds after patient visits.
5.
Housecleans rooms (scrub walls, strip floors by using scrubber and rewax the floors).
6.
Collects bio-hazards waste.
7.
Disinfects the bathrooms.
8.
Vacuums carpets and rugs.
9.
Burnishes the floors.
10.
Reports any damaged or broken equipment.
11.
Cleans up any accidental spills that could be a safety hazard to patients, staff or the general public.
12.
Provides a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and the general public.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Ability to lift approximately 25-30 pounds.
2.
Ability to bend, squat, stoop and stand for a period of 7 to 12 hours.
